Homemade curly fries

Fresh homemade curly fries delectable crispy, golden to perfection! Topped with a little parm cheese and chopped parsley!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup All purpose flour
  • 5 whole Potatoes Medium size
  • 2 tsp Paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1 1/2-2 cups olive oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • 2 sprinkle Parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Veggie spiralizer

Method
 

  1. Begin spiralizing potatoes and setting them into a big bowl
  2. Mix together paprika, cayenne, garlic powder and salt
  3. Add spice blend to flour and mix well
  4. Coat potato spirals thoroughly with the flour mixture
  5. Bring your oil to frying temperature
  6. Begin adding potato spirals to hot oil. With the help of some tongs help drop to form the desired curly shape. Cook on both sides until golden and lay on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  7. Garnish is totally optional but adds a lot of flavor, sprinkle parmesan cheese and chopped parsley and its ready to serve with sauce of your choice!
  8. For "chipotle aioli" I mixed 4 tablespoons Tia Lupita chipotle sauce with 1/2 c mayo
